| My character Ayazami and my pet on the ship Okay, So yesterday I got insulted just because my character had blonde hair and I took the guys spot. See I play a game called MapleStory, and in maplestory there are things called "resting chairs". On ships and such,people sit on a specific spot. My spot was at the bottom of the ship to the very left, so this guy came up and started to yell at me saying it was his spot, then he let it go because other people came in and started messing with him, it was stupid. After we all got out of the ship, it was time to get on the second ship, and there he was again! He started to misbehave once again, so I refused to move because of his rude behavior, and we both got into a arguement, calling me a "dumb blonde" and what not, telling me "i am stupid for being a blonde". After the argument, I realized that I should have just let him have the spot instead of arguing with him, but I got mad because of his behavior and decided to fight back, which was not the right thing to do. But anyhow, first of all I am NOT a blonde in real life, and dumb blondes are just a stereo type in my opinion. There are many successful blondes out there, even more successful then brunets. lol, whats this world coming to? Fighting over a stupid spot and calling people dumb blondes while you don't even know them? I think the guy was around the ages of 8-10, because he acted like it. It made me realize that because of the society people see some cultures and people through the society's perspective instead of their own. They are so busy worrying about fitting in that they forget about what they think. Of course not all people do that, they know from right to wrong and they know what they think, I have respect for them, but there are a few people who fail to realize their likes and dislikes and their opinions. They fail to look around them and see the real facts about life, they fail to realize that no matter where you come from, what your ethnicity is, what your skin, hair or eye color is, you can still be successful. Its not all about the genes, its about how hard you try and how devoted you are. For example, I am pure asian, and because of that trait, people just expect me to be smarter then everyone else. I have to admit that I am not a good student, but I am not a bad student either, I make good enough grades to make it into college, but hey I am not a genius like people expect me to be. |
